Support

Answers to common Repster questions and a direct support contact when you need more help.

How do I start a workout?

Use the start workout card on Home. You can start empty, copy a previous workout, or launch a saved template.

How do Smart Suggestions work?

Smart Suggestions estimate a useful next-set weight from recent performance, target reps, target RIR, and fatigue during the current workout. You can adjust suggestion behavior in Settings where prescription settings are available.

What does fatigue feedback after a workout do?

Fatigue feedback helps Repster understand whether suggestions felt less aggressive, about right, or more aggressive than expected. That feedback can be used by the adaptive fatigue learning system.

How are personal records detected?

Repster evaluates completed sets against your exercise history. It uses frontier-style logic so a record stays meaningful across different rep counts and weights.

Can I import data from another app?

Yes. Repster supports compatible CSV import flows, including FitNotes-style workout history. Imports are previewed and validated before being saved.

How do I back up my data?

Use Settings to export a backup file and store that file somewhere safe. Restore from a backup later using the restore option in Settings.

Is my workout data stored in the cloud?

No. Workout history, exercises, templates, records, settings, and fatigue learning data are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly export or share them.

What is the free tier and how does the subscription work?

The free tier lets you log up to 5 workouts. Full access unlocks unlimited logging and is managed through Apple's App Store subscriptions.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Open your iPhone Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, and choose Repster. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

How does the AI template helper work?

The AI helper prepares prompt text that you manually copy into ChatGPT or another AI tool. You then paste the response back into Repster to preview and import. Repster does not directly connect to an AI service for that flow.

What tracking types are supported?

Repster supports multiple exercise tracking styles, including weight and reps, duration, distance combinations, unilateral exercises, and custom tracking patterns where available.

Can I track unilateral exercises?

Yes. Exercises can be marked as unilateral so single-arm or single-leg work can track left and right side details accurately.
